Install Trend Micro on RKE2 Nodes

In order to provide centralized security scanning and monitoring capabilities, users may wish to install Trend Micro on nodes in an RKE2-based cluster. To do this, Trend Micro offers downloadable deployment scripts that will automatically install the agent and register a node with the relevant Trend Micro management server. As such, in order to deploy the agent, the user must download the deployment script from the Trend Micro management server, then use the extensible user-data functionality of Structsure's IaC to automatically run this deployment script on new node provisions.

After logging into the Trend Micro management server, navigate to "Support" -> "Deployment Scripts" at the top right of the main dashboard:

From this path, you should be able to download a bash deployment script that will automatically install the agent and register it to the correct management server. Select any relevant configuration parameters (e.g. proxy settings), then download this custom script as a file to the machine where the Terragrunt IaC will run.
